Web3 MMORPG 77-Bit is set to launch a limited 72-hour mint on 18 April, allowing eligible players to claim limited edition Beta Skin NFTs.
The announcement follows the completion of the game’s closed Beta phase, which recorded strong user engagement and in-game purchasing activity without the use of token rewards. Players who participated in the Beta or meet certain asset requirements on BitHub will be able to claim a free NFT or purchase additional skins during the minting window.
The mint will feature a set of limited edition cosmetic items, with immediate reveal and varying rarity levels. The NFTs will initially be Soulbound, meaning they cannot be traded at launch.

What is 77-Bit?
77-Bit is a free-to-play browser-based MMORPG set in a retro-futuristic cyberpunk world where players take on the role of resistance fighters battling against AI forces.
Set in the year 2077, the storyline follows humanity’s struggle for survival after an AI invasion reshaped the world. Players explore diverse regions such as Byte City, The Wilds, The Darknet, Wasteland Dungeons, and The Floating Lands, each offering unique challenges and rewards.
Players can choose between three character classes—Hacker, Technomancer, and Sentinel—each with distinct abilities and playstyles. The game combines exploration, combat, and crafting, featuring both solo and multiplayer activities. Competitive modes like The Arena and roguelike challenges such as Darknet Runs provide varied gameplay for players seeking both progression and high-stakes battles.
It recently concluded its closed Beta phase, during which it tested core game features and player engagement.

The Beta Skin NFT mint will open on Friday, 18 April at 12:00 UTC and will run for 72 hours. Eligibility is limited to players who either participated in the closed Beta or hold at least 77,000 Bytes—BitHub’s platform currency.
Each eligible player will receive one free Beta Skin NFT, whilst Battle Pass holders are entitled to an additional free NFT. Additional skins can be minted for 0.005 $ETH (about $7.7) each, with no limit on the number of paid mints.
The NFT rarities are distributed as follows, and all skins will be revealed immediately upon minting.
- Bitman (32%)

- Chunk-Li (15%)
- 7B (10%)
- Captain Jank Spammer (6%)
- Glitchku (4%)
- Stickman (1%)

What’s next for 77-Bit?
Following the Beta Skin mint, 77-Bit will introduce a new item called Quantum Core. A supply of 5,000 Quantum Cores is expected, with priority access given to Beta Skin holders and Iconic players.
Future development plans include full server upgrades, PvP Battle Royale mode, on-chain random number generation (RNG) for weapon reforging, introduction of its token-based player economy and expanded world content and story updates.
The development team has indicated that future scaling will depend on player engagement with these upcoming initiatives.
