Art-focused NFT marketplace Rarible have announced the integration of Arbitrum, an Ethereum Layer-2 network, with users now able to trade Arbitrum NFTs on the platform.
In celebration of this integration going live, Rarible have collaborated with Arbitrum on a free Arbinauts commemorative NFT collectibles drop, depicting an animated “Arbitrum explorer” alien-like character.
This drop was open for 48 hours, with 1,840 total Arbinauts NFTs minted. As of writing, the floor price of these Arbinauts NFTs sits at 0.004 ETH – roughly $7 USD.

What is Arbitrum?
Arbitrum is an Ethereum Layer-2 network which held its mainnet launch in August 2021.
Described as a “unified blockchain for everyone”, Arbitrum presents itself as a modern Layer-2 blockchain that’s tailor-made for mass-market Web3 adoption. The network features industry-leading security, a high degree of flexibility, and premium developer tools – ideal for building next-generation apps.
Popular apps built on Arbitrum include Robinhood, Camelot and Pirate Nation.

What impact will this partnership have?
In their announcement post on X, Rarible have described Arbitrum as a network with a “thriving community” that combines speed and low fees – with users of the Rarible Arbitrum NFT marketplace able to enjoy “full support for creator royalties.”
The Arbitrum team posted their support for the move on X, with many other members of the community excited at the prospect of being able to explore and trade Arbitrum NFTs on Rarible.
On top of the Arbinauts collection, many other popular Arbitrum-based NFT collections are seeing active trading on Rarible. This includes Caliverse Galxe Pods, Seif Finance‘s Bullrun NFTs, and Resolv‘s Blueprint NFTs.
The integration of Arbitrum expands Rarible’s rapidly-growing list of supported blockchains – both through Rarible itself, and through their white-label solution RaribleX. Just last week, Rarible added support for popular Ethereum Layer-2 network Abstract, with other recent additions including the likes of Shape and Palm.

Bullish on web3. Competitive soul.
