Doodles Records has announced a deal with PlayStation to take over their PlayStation Music service for the next two weeks.
Beginning on December 12, the Doodles Records playlist has become the default option on PlayStation Music for more than 60 million PS4 and PS5 consoles around the world, significantly expanding their reach.
In celebration of this partnership, Doodles has opted to sponsor the upcoming Color Splash community game night by offering a unique grand prize – a custom PS5 console with an exclusive Doodles skin.
What are Doodles Records and PlayStation doing together?
Doodles Records and PlayStation have struck a deal that sees Doodles Records take control of the default PlayStation Music playlist for the next two weeks, having started on December 12.
To access the playlist, PS4 and PS5 owners can follow these steps:
- Open the Control Center
- Select the “Music” option
- Choose Spotify
- Select the “Doodles on Playstation” Playlist
For those without access to either of these PlayStation consoles, Doodles have created a dedicated channel in their Discord for holders to listen to the playlist alongside fellow community members.
When is the Color Splash Game Night?
The Color Splash Game Night – the upcoming community gaming event – will take place on December 20, starting at 20 EST/1 UTC, and hosted by noted Doodles community member @Ippy_World.
The event is open to all, with priority access reserved for Doodles NFT holders. Participants will compete against one another across GeoGuessr, Fall Guys and Fortnite, with an array of prizes on offer. These prizes include Doodles vinyl figures, Doodles digital wearables, and the grand prize – a custom Doodles-skinned PlayStation 5 console.
The entirety of the Color Splash Game Night will be broadcasted live on Twitch by Ippy, with Doodles holders and the wider Web3 community able to watch the proceedings on supported devices.
