Web3 TCG Everdawn: Champions will enter Early Access via the Epic Games Store on September 25, according to developers Nexus Interactive.
The free-to-play title – which mixes hex-based unit-centric battlefields with strategic TCG elements – is backed by the likes of Animoca Brands, Maven Capital and more, who have invested $2 million USD into the studio to date.
During the Early Access phase, players can complete quests and take part in events to collect Airdrop Points to secure an allocation of the upcoming $NXI token, slated to launch in Q4 2024.
What is Everdawn: Champions?
Everdawn: Champions is a free-to-play battlefield-based TCG, available on PC, iOS and Android.
Players craft decks of 25 cards – including units, spells and more – to face other players and destroy their Golem. Golems are movable units which can also engage in combat, and a variety of control points and special abilities add an extra element of strategic flair into the mix.
Those who wishlist the game on the Epic Games Store are in with a chance of winning free Genesis Card Packs, which include 5 on-chain tradable cards that can be used within this Early Access phase – on top of the game’s core free decks.
The game is supported by browser title Everdawn: Questing Realms, which allows players to send their Champions out on time-based quests to each experience and in-game rewards.
How can I play the Early Access?
The Early Access of Everdawn: Champions will be available to all from September 25.
By completing quests, succeeding in battles and taking part in events throughout the Early Access phase, players will collect Airdrop Points towards an allocation of $NXI tokens – the ecosystem token of Everdawn: Champions that’s set to release before the end of the year.
Players are encouraged to login regularly during the Early Access phase, as Daily Loot Chests and quests will give players a significant advantage ahead of the upcoming airdrop, and a great deal of experience prior to the introduction of new features and modes.
