Web3 game developer and animator @Fordenad has revealed a brand-new art NFT, titled The Hellish Swing, will debut as an Open Edition on Rarible this week.
Opening on December 11 at 11 EST/16 UTC, this looping animated NFT features a cartoon character swinging back-and-forth over a gathering of flames, with Fordenad captioning the image by stating; “Even in a bull market, it’s a wild, fiery swing — keep swinging, but don’t get burned!”
Fordenad has invited interested collectors to be in with a chance of receiving one of the Open Edition for free through engaging with his social posts. The price of the Open Edition has yet to be revealed.
Who is Fordenad?
Fordenad is the pseudonym of a noted Web3 game develop and animator.
They are perhaps best-known as the creator of Franky the Frog – a character that sits at the core of the Franky’s Dinner NFT collection, the Franky’s Adventures app, and a series of nostalgic games and animations backed by Lonely Lily Studios – of which they are the founder.
Prior to Web3, Fordenad worked as an animator for over 5 years, then in the mobile gaming industry for 3 years before leaving to create their own games and cartoons that you see today.
What do we know about this Open Edition?
Fordenad’s latest NFT, The Hellish Swing, is set to debut as an Open Edition on Rarible, starting December 11 at 11 EST/16 UTC.
The animation was conceptualised with the Fordenad community on a livestream, with following animation work and refinement resulting in the NFT that will become available tomorrow.
As of writing, details such as which blockchain the Open Edition will be available on and what the minting cost of the NFT will be upon release have yet to be revealed.
