Ghost Machine NFT Mint Date Moved to June 13

The official launch date for Ghost Machine—a new NFT collection from DFZ Labs—has been rescheduled from June 5 to June 13.

Whilst the team has not provided an official reason for the shift, the revised date—which falls on a Friday the 13th—appears to be an intentional nod to the Deadfellaz brand’s long-standing association with horror and pop culture references and may have been made with thematic alignment in mind.

Ghost Machine is set to mint on ApeChain and will have free access to existing Deadfellaz and Deadfrenz holders. Details around the allowlist and claim process are expected to be shared in the coming days.

What is Ghost Machine?

Ghost Machine is a 50,000-piece NFT collection described as “hyper-pop art” PFPs.

The project is a new initiative by DFZ Labs, the team behind the Ethereum-based Deadfellaz and Deadfrenz collections. Ghost Machine is designed to be minted on ApeChain—a blockchain network that aims to provide faster and cheaper transactions compared to Ethereum.

The collection’s exact utility has not been detailed, but it is part of DFZ Labs’ broader strategy, which includes several other projects in development.

How to participate in the mint?

The Ghost Machine mint will take place on June 13 through Blever, a launchpad for NFT projects on ApeChain and Abstract.

Each NFT will cost 1 US dollar and holders of Deadfellaz and Deadfrenz NFTs will be eligible to mint one Ghost Machine NFT for free.

This free claim is expected to take place prior to the public sale. DFZ Labs has also confirmed that an allowlist will offer early access to select users, with further details expected soon.
