Nature wildlife photographer and digital artist Megan Morrow has posted Gentle Awakening – an idyllic photograph of a foggy sunrise over a winter lake – to emerging art-focused social media platform Rodeo.
Uploaded on January 18, Rodeo allows artists and creators to share their work with their fans in the format of a social networking site. On top of being able to like, share and comment on the piece, followers can also choose to purchase the work as a digital collectible directly through the platform.
As of writing, 10 users have collected Gentle Awakening thus far – with one offer looking to purchase one of these NFTs for 5x its mint price.
Who is Megan Morrow?
Megan Morrow is an American nature wildlife photographer and digital artist, based in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Morrow’s work is guided by her “love for the intricate world of birds and wildlife, intertwined with my unwavering commitment as a dedicated conservationist.” Her art aims to “capture the profound beauty of nature”, “illuminate the wonders that surround us”, and showcase “the incredible diversity and resilience of the natural world.”
Morrow has been active in the NFT industry since 2022, with the majority of her works minted on Ethereum. She is recognised as an Emerging Artist by digital arts patron Cozomo de’ Medici, and her digital collectibles can be found on platforms such as Manifold, Foundation and OpenSea.
