Popular NFT collection Pudgy Penguins have announced that they will be holding an exclusive Pengu Party event at Art Basel Miami 2024.
Held on December 5 from 7-11PM at FunDimension in Miami, the event – created in partnership with ZKsync, Abstract and Pudgy Pop – will feature “great vibes, delicious food, and an amazing arcade experience.”
Tickets are free to all, with first priority going to holders of Pudgy Penguins and Lil Pudgys NFTs.
What will the Pengu Party feature?
This isn’t Pudgy Penguins’ first foray into in-person events.
Previous experiences – including at past Art Basel Miami events – have included live music, activities and exclusive merchandise. This has included Pudgy-themed sculptures and fine art pieces at the main Art Basel Miami show.
There’s always the possibility that the Pudgy Penguins team could be looking to make an announcement at the event – and with the Pudgy Party title known to be on the way, attendees may be expecting some alpha to come their way.
What else are Pudgy Penguins doing at Art Basel Miami 2024?
Alongside the Pengu Party, Pudgy Penguins have held wider activities as part of the wider Art Basel Miami experience.
The team have already held a series of “winner takes all” tournaments via the Pudgy Poker app, with the winners receiving cash prizes plus flights and tickets to the event.
The day prior to the Pengu Party, Orange Cap Games will be holding an exclusive launch party for trading card game Pudgy Vibes. The event will see the official launch of the game, with physical cards available to purchase for the first time.
Art Basel Miami 2024 is set to be held from December 6 to December 8.
