Web3 MMORPG Treeverse has announced a significant overhaul planned for Season 2 and confirmed its native $END token will be officially launched in June.
The token generation event (TGE) will mark the first time the $END token is made available to players, following its initial distribution as rewards during the game’s first season.
Endless Clouds has also outlined plans to refine gameplay systems and improve technical performance ahead of the Season 2, bringing the game closer to its final form, with new features and backend improvements already underway.

What is Treeverse?
Treeverse is a web3-based MMORPG developed by the studio Endless Clouds, designed without fixed classes, allowing players to freely create their own builds by combining different skills, items, and tools.
It features a top-down perspective and fast-paced combat optimised for mobile devices, as well as PC via the Epic Games Store. Players start in the city of Lorwick and can explore dungeons, gather resources, craft weapons, complete quests, and interact with others in an evolving world.
The game supports both solo and group play, with a focus on long-term progression and player freedom. The game is currently available on iOS, Android, and PC platforms.
What’s new in Season 2?
Following the conclusion of Season 1 on May 18, Treeverse is preparing a significant update for Season 2 to focus on improving key gameplay systems such as crafting, gathering, combat, and character progression.
Players can expect a redesigned inventory interface and skill panel, as well as new mechanics like charged weapon abilities. Resource gathering will become more complex with items featuring individual stats, adding depth to professions such as mining and fishing. The AI controlling in-game monsters is also being updated, alongside fixes and enhancements to dialogue and quest systems.
On the technical side, the game’s backend infrastructure is being improved by replacing Redis with PostgreSQL to enhance stability and performance. Visual updates to several game maps, including Lorwick, Kenryos, and Calbree Forest, are planned for the upcoming beta release later this year.
Additional features planned for future updates include new social tools such as emotes and stickers, as well as cosmetic additions like pets and mounts.
