Noted AI artist Vikki Bardot has debuted Family Values – a collection of 125 1-of-1 NFTs depicting 1950s U.S. suburban families – on NFT art platform Foundation.
Family Values looks to utilise AI art to comment on the idealism of the American family, with a happy facade interrupted by peculiar details and an air of “fakeness” that permeates the medium.
Auctions for NFT collectibles in the Family Values series began on January 17 at 17 UTC, and are set to close on January 20. Each piece starts at a 0.05 ETH reserve, and as of writing, a healthy number of the pieces have seen their opening bids.

What is Vikki Bardot’s Family Values NFT collection?
Family Values is a collection of 125 unique 1-of-1 NFT artworks that debuted on Foundation on January 17, 2025.
The collection is described by Bardot as “an uncanny pastiche of well-manicured suburban families”, cutting a critical commentary of classic 1950s U.S. suburban iconography. By using the medium of AI to explore this topic, Bardot cuts through the pleasant facade to reveal the illusion of perfect, and the inherent “fakeness” that permeates both the subject matter, and the medium of the art form.
Each NFT in the Family Values NFT collection is minted on Ethereum with a 0.05 ETH reserve, with the auctions set to end on January 20. All bidders will receive an Bidders Edition NFT, with the overall highest bidder to receive an exclusive physical print from Bardot.
