Ethereum-based NFT collection Rare Apepes crypto has revealed a playable demo for their inaugural game title, RAK 3022.
RAK 3022, a browser-based 2D hack-n-slash title, sees players dive into the world of Rare Apepes for the first time, playing as Bounty Hunter NUBI on a quest to recover fragments of a lost artifact.
The game is free to play right on PC right now, with both keyboard and controller inputs supported.
What are Rare Apepes in Crypto?
Rare Apepes is a 10,000-piece NFT collection on Ethereum, minted in March 2022.
Paying homage to both Bored Ape Yacht Club and Rare Pepe, the collection draws inspiration from both with its art style, branding, and NFTs – with Z1 Serums and Zombie Apepes replicating what Bored Apes achieved with the Mutant Ape Yacht Club collection.
As of writing, the collection sits at a floor price of 0.02 ETH.
What is RAK 3022?
Developed by @DesignOneforall and @JonathanUrosa, and published by RareLabs, RAK 3022 is a web-based 2D hack-n-slash side-scroller, set in the Rare Apepes crypto universe.
Players become NUBI, a Bounty Hunter Apepe who is on a mission to recover fragments of a lost artifact that is said to hold incredible value.
The full experience will see players traverse six levels to face six bosses – with the demo featuring the first two levels and their associated bosses.
RAK 3022 is free to play on PC via browser, with both keyboard and controller inputs supported.
No wallet connection required, with the team remarking that they want “non-crypto people to play easily.”
