Web3 mobile basketball title Rumble Kong League has held its soft launch, allowing players to earn an allocation of the upcoming $FAME token.
This play-to-airdrop phase is expected to run into January 2025, with players able to acquire and spend League Tickets, complete in-game quests, open Rumble Pass Boxes, spin the Daily Wheel and more.
The $FAME token is set to hold its token generation event (TGE) in early 2025.
What is Rumble Kong League?
Rumble Kong League is a Web3 3v3 play-to-earn basketball title, built on Avalanche, and available on both iOS and Android.
The game is built first and foremost for the 10,000-piece Rumble Kong NFT collection. All of these Ethereum-based avatars can be used as playable characters in this blockchain game, each with unique features, traits and in-game boosts.
Players can dive into the competitive mode of Rumble Kong League, which features 10 ranked divisions with 30 clubs in each. Players manage their club by recruiting and managing their roster of Kongs, setting them up to compete against other clubs in 3v3 matches to climb the competitive ladder.
By climbing the ladder, players will be rewarded with increasing amounts of $FAME points. These will determine allocations of the soon-to-launch $FAME token, which is set to debut in 2025.
How do I earn $FAME tokens?
The primary way to earn $FAME is by participating in Leagues.
There are four leagues to progress through; the Noobs league, the Underdogs league, the Chads league, and the Sigma league. Players will want to progress to the Sigma league as quickly as possible, as this is where the lion’s share of $FAME rewards can be found.
Progressing through the first three leagues will earn players 8,000 $FAME, and there’s a 300,000 $FAME prize pool available in the Sigma league. This will be distributed as follows:
- 1st: 50,000 $FAME
- 2nd/3rd: 20,000 $FAME
- 4th-10th: 8,000 $FAME
- 11th-30th: 4,000 $FAME
- 31st-100th: 1,000 $FAME
- 101st-1000th: 100 $FAME
The $FAME token is expected to be launched in early 2025 – perhaps as early as January 2025.
