Haunted Space Arena, a web3 space shooter developed by Galaxy Lab, is opening for a public alpha test from June 5 to June 8 and is free to play on PC.
During this period, players can compete in the game’s core mode and aim for a place in the top 10 leaderboard. Those who finish in the top 10 will qualify for an upcoming KOL Tournament, which is expected to feature substantial prize pools.
The public alpha is an early opportunity for players to experience the game and provide feedback before the official launch, and will focus on a Free for All PvP mode in which participants battle in space using different spacecraft, each with unique health, shields, and weapons.

What is Haunted Space Arena?
Haunted Space Arena is a space-themed multiplayer shooter currently in development using Unreal Engine 5.
Players select from a variety of battleships to engage in competitive game modes set in different space environments. Whilst the public alpha is expected to feature only a Free for All mode, the full release plans to include additional modes such as Team Deathmatch, Collect the Orb, and Dominion.
The game is part of Galaxy Lab’s wider Haunted Space ecosystem, which also includes a single-player title and a mobile mini-game on the Telegram platform. Galaxy Lab aims to release Haunted Space Arena on major platforms including Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox.
Future updates are expected to introduce NFT-based battleships that players can own and trade within the game’s marketplace.

How to participate in the Public Alpha?
Players do not need to pay or purchase anything to participate as the public alpha will be accessible for free on PC from 10:00 UTC on June 5 to 22:00 UTC on June 8.
Matches appear to last around ten minutes, with the player earning the most points from kills declared the winner. The battles take place in outer space environments featuring debris that can be used for cover or strategic manoeuvres.
Those who perform well in the alpha and rank in the top 10 on the leaderboard will gain entry to the KOL Tournament—a later competitive event with prize pools. However, details about rewards for the alpha phase itself are yet to be disclosed.
