Alchemy Partners with Syndicate To Boost Layer-2 Rollups

Developer-focused Web3 platform Alchemy has partnered with Web3 infrastructure company Syndicate to assist projects with deploying reliable, community-owned, custom Ethereum Layer-2 rollups.

By working together, Syndicate will combine their on-chain sequencing network with Alchemy’s blockchain infrastructure technology to provide projects with a top-tier solution for their blockchain operations.

Alchemy and Syndicate are also launching a joint accelerator program, offering strategic advice, technical resources and platform credits to teams that are actively building Layer-2 rollups. Technical staff from both companies will assist program participants in launching their own custom Ethereum Layer-2 rollups.

Why has Alchemy partnered with Syndicate?

Layer-2 networks are of major importance for the feasibility, adoption and growth of the Ethereum blockchain. Popular Layer-2 networks on Ethereum include Polygon, Immutable, and the recently-launched Abstract.

Both Alchemy and Syndicate have experience working on the biggest projects in the blockchain space. Alchemy has worked on the infrastructure for Ethereum, OpenSea, Magic Eden and more. Syndicate has developed solutions for both Nike SWOOSH and Rug Radio, and now offers rollups and sequencer services.

Whilst Polygon, Immutable and Abstract are popular, they are general products – rather than tailored solutions. The partnership between Alchemy and Syndicate will help projects to create their own Layer-2 rollups that are specifically built to support their needs, whilst enjoying the security, reliability and flexibility of Ethereum.

What impact could this partnership have?

Representatives from both Alchemy and Syndicate are thrilled at how their partnership could help new projects, and shake-up the rollup space.

“With rollup adoption accelerating, scaling infrastructure is one of the biggest challenges organizations face,” said Nikil Viswanathan, co-founder and CEO of Alchemy. “We’re thrilled to expand our offerings through this partnership with Syndicate, making it easier for developers to launch their own rollup that can scale and progressively decentralize to their communities.

“This partnership will give onchain builders the infrastructure and performance they need to confidently build mainstream apps and networks that users want and need.”

Ian Lee, co-founder of Syndicate, added; “By joining forces with Alchemy, we’re making it significantly easier for developers to build and scale rollups that require high throughput, reliability, and customization.

“By integrating Alchemy’s rollup platform with our onchain sequencing infrastructure, we’re providing the robust, scalable infrastructure that teams need to confidently build and deploy the most successful rollups and applications that all want to be community-owned.”
