Engines of Fury is set to conclude its first season with The Infection, the third and final act.
This limited-time event, running from April 29 to May 4, offers players the opportunity to earn rewards, including 100,000 $FURY tokens and Gen-0 NFTs.
Players will also experience several new features, such as the introduction of co-op gameplay, voice chat, and upgraded raiding zones.
What’s new in The Infection?
The Infection brings notable changes to the gameplay of Engines of Fury, with a primary focus on enhancing the multiplayer experience. The most anticipated feature is the introduction of co-op mode, which allows players to team up and complete missions together. This new mode offers a collaborative approach to the game, allowing players to strategise and fight alongside each other rather than going solo.
In addition to co-op mode, voice chat has been implemented, enabling real-time communication between players for effective teamwork, clearer coordination and strategy execution.
Finally, the event introduces upgraded raiding zones, offering more challenging environments for players to explore and conquer. These zones are designed to test players’ skills and cooperation, with higher risks and greater rewards the deeper they venture.
How to participate and earn?
To participate in The Infection, players must register through a form provided by the developers. The registration requires basic details such as name, email address, Discord username, and Epic Games ID. Additionally, players must confirm they are using Windows as the operating system, as the event is only available on that platform.
Once registered, players will be added to a whitelist. If selected, they will receive an access key, allowing them to download and play the event via the Epic Games Store. Given that the event has limited slots, early registration is advised to increase the chances of selection.
The prize pool for The Infection consists of 100,000 $FURY tokens (worth approximately $2,778 at the time of writing) and rare Gen-0 NFTs. These rewards will be distributed among players based on their performance during the event.
