Popular art-focused NFT marketplace MakersPlace have announced that celebrated artist Laprisamata will soon exhibit Antiflesh, his next NFT artwork series, exclusively on the platform.
The Antiflesh collection is set to consist of a selection of 1-of-1 digital collage NFTs, each of which intertwine classical art influences with modern digital art techniques to explore the topic of human identity.
Buyers of Antiflesh NFT collectibles – which have yet to see their release date be revealed – will also receive a physical museum-grade print of their purchase, giving purchasers the ability to enjoy the works both physically and digitally.
Who is Laprisamata?
Laprisamata is the professional pseudonym of Luis Toledo, a celebrated graphic artist based in Madrid.
He describes his work as being in a metamodernist style, which often includes eccentric depictions of figures, landscapes and scenes set in bold colours and arrangements. These help to craft rich, detailed worlds that draw in and encapsulate the viewer, leaving a striking impression that leaves meaning open to interpretation.
His work has garnered global recognition in the traditional art world, having been given many prestigious acclaims from the Wacom Awards, Awards Pantone and the Behance National Design Awards. This has led to him working with some of the world’s most recognised brands, including Warner Music, Atlantic Records and EA Games.
