Eligibility for rewards requires players to hold specific NFTs or passes.

What is Pirate Nation?
Pirate Nation is a browser-based role-playing game that integrates blockchain technology with traditional RPG mechanics.
It launched in December 2022 and initially operated on the Polygon blockchain before transitioning to the Arbitrum network in 2023 to reduce transaction costs and improve gameplay speed. Players build ships, form crews, and engage in both PvE and PvP activities.
The development team consists of professionals with experience from major gaming companies, and the game infrastructure includes Layer-3 blockchains designed to handle increased player volume.

What is The Legend of Darkness: PvP Season?
The Legend of Darkness is a competitive PvP event lasting 28 days, beginning on May 27 and concluding on June 25 where players battle to secure one of the top 1,000 ranks on the leaderboard.
The prize pool includes 2 million $PIRATE tokens, along with gold, gems, and rare crafting materials. The highest-ranked player will receive 25,000 $PIRATE tokens, 200,000 gold, and 10,000 gems. Those ranked between 501 and 1,000 will also receive smaller amounts of these rewards.
The event also features new Abyssal-themed ship skins, which players can craft using artifacts collected during the competition. The season’s theme focuses on an emerging threat from the ocean, reflected in the new artwork and rewards.

How to qualify for the rewards?
To be eligible for rewards at the end of the event, players must hold either a Founder’s Pirate NFT or an active VIP Pass.
Without one of these, players will not be able to claim prizes, regardless of their leaderboard position. All rewards are distributed in full once the event ends, with no vesting period. Each player may only claim one prize based on their final rank.
Additionally, items called Black Roses from the previous Deadman’s Heart event can be exchanged for PGLD tokens at a fixed rate of one-to-one.
