Who is Rebecca Rose?
Rebecca Rose is a Florida-based award-winning collage artist whose art takes a unique perspective on the human narrative.
Active since 1993, Rose has had a storied career that includes explorations of sculptural, digital, immersive, and holographic collage styles, as well as an array of immersive 3D installations. Her work has been exhibited at the likes of the Whitney Museum, Miami Art Week, the Kennedy Space Center, and the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe.
Rose took her art to the blockchain in 2021, and has since minted a wide array of artworks across Ethereum, Solana and Bitcoin via platforms such as KnownOrigin, Gamma, SuperRare and more.
What is RariChain?
RariChain is an art-focused Ethereum Layer-3 blockchain, built on Arbitrum by the Rarible team.
The RariChain blockchain is designed to give NFT artists a guaranteed way to secure perpetual royalty payments for their work by embedding royalties at the node level. This gives artists the knowledge and security that they will continue to enjoy a kickback from secondary sales of their digital works – a hot topic of the arts community in recent years.
On top of embedded royalties, RariChain offers optimised fees – which purports to allow artist to mint and trade their works “virtually free” – in-built integration with the Rarible marketplace, and the facilitation of payments in ETH, USDC and USD.
