Web3 MMORPG ROM: Golden Age – a Web3 version of popular South Korean game ROM: Remember of Majesty – will launch on play-to-earn platform WEMIX PLAY in Q3 2025.
The game is set to build on the stellar reputation of its predecessor, with 2024’s ROM: Remember of Majesty being awarded “Best Game” in the Google Play Games on PC category for Taiwan & Hong Kong in Google Play’s Best of 2024 awards.
Thanks to a partnership between WEMADE and developers RedLab Games, ROM: Golden Age is built on the WEMIX Layer-1 mainnet, and will feature a straight-forward play-to-earn structure, integrated NFT minting and much more.

What is ROM: Golden Age?
ROM: Golden Age is an upcoming isometric Web3 MMORPG, built on WEMIX, and expected to be available on iOS, Android and PC.
Developed by RedLab Games, in partnership with WEMADE, players are expected to dive into an experience similar to its Web2 predecessor, ROM: Remember of Majesty.
Inspired by games such as Diablo and Path of Exile, players select a class and embark on a journey across an unforgiving open world, levelling up their characters and mastering their skill combos to defeat ever-tougher opponents before diving into dungeons and raids for the ultimate challenge.
Unlike ROM: Remember of Majesty, which is only available in select countries across Asia, ROM: Golden Age will see a global release, giving players around the world a chance to experience the popular MMO for the first time.

WEMIX PLAY is a South Korean platform for Web3 games, being the home of titles such as Night Crows and Mir 4 – two of the leading blockchain gaming titles in Asia.
Bringing ROM: Golden Age to WEMIX PLAY is part of WEMADE’s ambitious plans to expand their lineup of games across 2025 and beyond by partnering directly with game developers. Though few details have been revealed, it is understood that we can expect additional co-developed titles to be announced in future.
