Web3 multiplayer FPS title Shatterline has announced that it will launch on the Epic Games Store on December 5.
This launch completes the game’s transition from Steam, and brings with it a host of exclusive events, rewards and more, with weekly PvE challenges and monthly PvP leaderboards to reward Legendary item crates, Gold, and token payouts.
The game is priced at $4.99 – with free codes available via content creators and livestreamers – and is available to download and play as of writing.
What is Shatterline game?
Shatterline is a Web3 multiplayer FPS title, built on the Avalanche-powered Faraway blockchain.
Developed by Frag Lab and published by Faraway, the game sees players equip custom loadouts and go ahead-to-head in fast-paced arena-style PvP matchups – or band together to take on the intense rogue-like PvE mode.
A wide array of classes are available; sharpshooters, medics, juggernauts and more, each bringing unique skills and playstyles into the experience.
Holders of NFTs in the Faraway ecosystem – such as HV-MTL mechs – can enhance their gameplay by gathering additional Engrams, used to acquire HV-MTL tokens or receive in-game perks such as Rift Keys and crafting materials.
What is available at the launch of Shatterline?
As of writing, the following content is available within Shatterline:
- A single-player PvE campaign
- Episodic co-op PvE content
- Multiple PvP modes: Escort, TDM, Conquest, and ranked Plant The Bomb
Pre-season leaderboards will run until December 9, with players able to win prizes such as Legendary item creates, Gold, and Engrams. Season 1 will kick-off on December 11, with weekly USDC prizes that total up to $20,100 USD in value per month.
Players who have migrated from Steam, and have connected their Steam and Epic Games Store accounts, can claim a free Migration Pack, which includes a Founder’s Pack, rare trinkets, exclusive skins and more, with additional rewards based on playtime to date.
